Position Overview: As a Project Manager/Estimator specializing in commercial concrete construction, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of concrete projects from conception to completion. You will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of project requirements, specifications, and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial concrete construction projects.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information and ensure project feasibility.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against established timelines and financial targets.
• Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services required for project execution, negotiating pricing and contracts to optimize cost efficiency.
• Coordinate and lead project team meetings, communicating project objectives, milestones, and expectations to all stakeholders.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project risks and identify solutions to overcome challenges, ensuring that any deviations from project plans are promptly addressed and resolved.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, maintaining open communication and addressing any concerns or issues to enhance client satisfaction and promote repeat business.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance, identify lessons learned, and implement improvements for future projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; additional certifications or training in project management or estimating are preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in project management and estimating within the commercial concrete construction industry, demonstrating a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, HeavyBid) and project management tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical information, assess project risks, and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate contracts, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve shared goals while fostering a culture of safety and quality excellence.
