Job Description: As the Vice President of Operations in Commercial Concrete Construction, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all operational aspects of our projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability. You will be responsible for leading a team of project managers, site supervisors, and field personnel, driving performance and achieving strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Leadership:
    • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize project delivery, enhance productivity, and maximize profitability.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  2. Project Management:
    • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
    • Collaborate closely with project managers and site supervisors to address challenges, mitigate risks, and resolve issues promptly.
    • Monitor project progress, performance metrics, and financial forecasts, taking proactive measures to drive results.
  3. Resource Allocation:
    • Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to support project requirements and meet client expectations.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, optimize resource utilization, and reduce costs without compromising quality or safety.
  4. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and identifying opportunities for additional business.
  5. Safety and Compliance:
    • Champion a culture of safety and compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols, training programs, and quality assurance processes to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial concrete construction, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
